Welcome to Small World Web Design. We are a small company who believes in a more personalized service for our clients. Our motto is to create professionally designed web sites which are clean and fast loading with simplified navigation and are reasonably priced.  We cater to the small start-up businesses who are working with a tight budget, or clients whose objective is to  provide information to the public or a select group of viewers. We design personal web sites as well.

In addition to our web design service, we also offer digital photography and photo editing, logo design, shopping carts, domain name registration and web hosting.

We do not offer Flash and other similar components since the majority of the clients for whom we design webs prefer a simpler, uncluttered  web site. Surveys show that flash technology more often than not annoys the viewer and if they have the option to bypass it, they usually do. It also unnecessarily adds to your web design cost. Our main goal is to have those who visit your web site have the capability to view your site quickly and to be able to navigate to the page or area they want to view instantly.

We also offer photo editing. You have probably visited web sites which contain photos that took forever to view. When photos or graphics are added to a web site, it often slows the download time. However, there are methods we use that make it possible to show clear, appropriately sized photos that download very quickly. We can do that for you. We don't want to see you lose customers because they did not have the patience to wait for your site to download.

You may have a photo  you would like to use that may contain unwanted objects (i.e. telephone poles). We can edit those out for you. We can also make the grass look a little greener or the sky a little bluer, or even replace a sky completely with a sky from our photo library.

Do you have a product to sell? We offer PayPal shopping cart capability. All you need to do is to set up an account with PayPal (we can help you do that) and we will set up the display of your product and add the appropriate PayPal "buy" buttons as well as shopping cart details.  You need not open any major merchant credit card accounts. PayPal allows for direct payment from the buyer's bank account as well as an option to pay by credit card. PayPal takes care of all the financial details at a nominal cost.

Have you secured a domain name yet? You will need to obtain a domain name (i.e. www.yourbusinessname.com).  If you have not done so yet, not to worry.  We can help you choose an appropriate domain name and have it registered for you. It is a necessity of having a web site on the Internet. We can make sure that your domain name is renewed at the appropriate time as well.

Once your web site is completed, we will publish you site to the host of your choice or arrange one for you at a very reasonable price. This will include at least one e-mail address which will show your domain name. You may choose to have more than one e-mail address (i.e. sales@businessname.com, Mary@businessname.com etc). There are different hosting packages available to accommodate your needs.

We can also give you advice on marketing your site so that it will be seen by the people you are targeting.
